Called to the Alberta Bar in 2018, Aatif specializes in personal injury, civil litigation, and corporate & commercial law. He has represented clients before tribunals and courts, delivering strategic and effective legal solutions, tailored to their needs.

Prior to joining Westview Law LLP, Aatif gained extensive experience at a well-regarded western regional law firm, where he represented insurance companies and other corporate clients, honing his skills in litigation, dispute resolution and trial advocacy. His background in insurance defence provided him with valuable insights into the strategies and operations of insurance companies. Now, as a personal injury lawyer, he leverages this knowledge to effectively advocate for his clients, ensuring fair and just outcomes.

In his practice, Aatif routinely handles personal injury cases, insurance claims, commercial disputes, and general civil litigation cases. Aatif completed his Masters of Business Administration from University Canada West, and his Master of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School, York University.

Aqib Iftikhar, LLB

Called to the Alberta Bar in 2023, Aqib specializes in real estate law (both residential and commercial), family law, and immigration. With over seven years of prior legal experience internationally, he brings a global perspective and a client-focused approach to his practice, delivering tailored solutions to meet diverse legal needs.

In real estate, Aqib assists clients with purchases, sales, leases, and refinancing, ensuring smooth transactions and safeguarding their interests. His family law practice focuses on helping clients navigate sensitive issues with care and professionalism, including divorce, child custody, and support matters. In immigration, he guides individuals and families through the complexities of applications and processes, working to achieve successful outcomes.

Outside of his legal practice, Aqib enjoys exploring new places, experiencing different cultures, and spending time outdoors. These hobbies inspire his curiosity and provide a fresh perspective that he applies to the challenges he tackles in his work.

Mehul Bawa, LLB

Mehul obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Bond University in Australia, where he developed a strong foundation in legal principles and practice. After returning to Canada, he successfully completed the National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) exams, earning his NCA Certificate in 2024. Currently articling at Westview Law LLP, Mehul is honing his skills in litigation, with a focus on delivering effective advocacy and legal solutions. He is on track to be called to the bar in October 2025.

Outside the legal profession, Mehul is an avid sports enthusiast who enjoys staying active and engaging in a range of athletic pursuits.

Honey Paul

A graduate of Bow Valley College’s Legal Assistant program, Honey brings a strong foundation of legal knowledge and skills to his position, with a particular focus on real estate law. His role involves providing essential clerical support, managing the firm’s accounts, and assisting with a variety of administrative tasks, allowing the attorneys to concentrate on legal matters.

Additionally, Honey excels in managing client relations, ensuring that each client’s needs are met with professionalism and care. His attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask make him an invaluable member of the team.

In addition to his professional responsibilities, Honey is passionate about maintaining a healthy lifestyle. He enjoys regular exercise, which helps him stay energized and focused both personally and professionally.
