She earned her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of Delhi, India, and previously held a senior-level position with the Government of India. Her public service experience strengthened her analytical skills, attention to detail, sound judgment, and commitment to professionalism.

After moving to Canada, Kanupriya completed the requirements for admission to the legal profession in Alberta, articled with Westview Law LLP, and was subsequently called to the Alberta Bar.

Kanupriya takes a practical, solution-oriented approach to legal matters, focusing on clear advice, responsive communication, and a thorough understanding of each client’s circumstances. She is committed to helping individuals and families navigate legal matters with confidence while working toward practical outcomes that protect their interests.

Rayyan has a developing practice focused on civil litigation, labour and employment law, and administrative law, with particular interests in judicial review, regulatory matters, and disputes involving government and administrative decision-makers. He is especially interested in complex matters involving the intersection of law, technology, and public policy.

Rayyan is an Executive Member and Legislative Review Officer of the Canadian Bar Association Alberta South Administrative Law Section, where he helps develop programming for the administrative law bar, with a particular interest in events examining artificial intelligence and administrative law. In May 2026, Rayyan presented research on whistleblowing, employee protection, and artificial intelligence at the Canadian Whistleblowing Research Network Conference in Montréal. He continues to write about administrative law, judicial review, labour and employment law, AI governance, and public policy.

Rayyan completed his LLB (Hons) at Queen Mary University of London in 2025, where he received the 2024/25 Law School Award for Creative Legal Innovation for his work on artificial intelligence and public-sector decision-making. His article, “Equality and Inclusivity through Accountability: Regulating Automated Decision-Making in the Public Sector”, was the only undergraduate article published in the 2025 issue of the peer-reviewed Queen Mary Law Journal and was later featured by the Ada Lovelace Institute (UK). During law school, Rayyan was selected to join the university's Mooting Team and reached the semi-finals of the George Hinde Moot Competition in which he advocated at the Royal Courts of Justice.

Rayyan spent both summers of law school with Stewart Sharma Harsanyi LLP, where he gained experience in administrative proceedings, immigration appeals, and judicial review at the Federal Court of Canada.

Outside of work, Rayyan enjoys fiction and non-fiction writing, hiking, and squash. He is fluent in English, French, Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi.

She brings administrative skill, knowledge of legal procedures and attention to detail to client service and office coordination.

She is a graduate of MacEwan University’s Legal Assistant program and supports the firm with legal document preparation, file management, scheduling and client communication.
